I'm completely new to this and picking up my first ever van on Saturday. What's the view on drive away awnings? Any advice would be brilliant and really anything else. Thanks

Depends what you are going to use the awning for. There's a great thread somewhere on here with loads of photos - will see if I can find it.
In the meantime, tell us more about what it will be used for, and how many people in/under it.

It'll be mainly for two people mainly just to store stuff but also big enough for the grandchildren. I've read that water collecting on the area between the van and the awning can be an issue
