Non transporter basic radio wiring question

Shoot me down if it's not appropriate to ask this here, but I have what is hopefully a simple question for those that understand wiring.

I have a 1983 Polo that has provisions for 2 rear speakers and 1 front speaker in the centre of the dashboard. I'm going to fit a radio with 4 speaker outputs. Can I wire the single front speaker in such a way that it won't be affected by the left/right balance?

Does this take both left and right inputs then?

Yes. I don’t have one, but I thought about it as a possibility for the back of my van.
