Yup, driven it once in 3 weeks, to take it to have its auxiliary belt and tensioner replaced - which turned out not to be the problem. Will drive it again on Wednesday to take it to find out what that squealing sound coming from the offside side of the engine is, and hope it's not expensive :( Then I can see me not having the chance to drive it again this side of xmas.

Bought a new van July 2019 took it to get converted September 2019 ( told them there was no rush as they fitted me in ) got the van back end of January but wasn't able to go anywhere due work commitments, then covid, when restrictions were lifted / relaxed busy again with work then accident in work ( on crutches ) The van is 15months old and less than 550miles on the clock ( 380 miles was to the converters and back for the conversion )
Going to have to go for it next year !!!!!
On the plus side I do drive a T6 for work

Drive mine most days when I’m not working, got a Smart ForTwo for the 50 miles per day commute.

Wow. 550 miles in 15 months. Our new demo is nearly 3 months old and has just passed this mileage, due to the conversion time.

Apart from keeping the battery topped up.... what other measures are you taking or would recommend for prolonged periods when the van is parked up..?

Got our van Sept.1st. Only been to the Lakes camping. It`s now had to be parked at converters as I`m in France for a month working. Vans due conversion middle of Oct. Due out 1st week of Nov. Cant wait to get it back....then the Lowered suspension saga begins. Been reading loads of useful comments on here.

I have to drive a transit custom for work, and the Kombi is the wife's daily driver. Only get.to drive it at the weekends:(:(:( :)

Picked up our T6 Camper King on 2nd September. Done 1500 miles in it since then. Mainly one trip up to Fort William and back from Hampshire. Otherwise we drive it at least once a week on day trips.

I've only done 1700 miles since delivery in March due to combination of factors inc. shielding etc . Seriously considering going back to a large estate car as other family members won't drive the Kombi due to size (the van not them :) ). Given sellers market at moment it would also be a good time to change if I decide to go head.

I drive my car (Mazda 6 estate) twice a week; shopping on a Tuesday night, and into the office on a Wednesday.

I drive the T6 every other weekend.

I have decided I prefer driving the T6 :think smile bounce:

Haven’t had my camper out in 10 months! Between COVID, divorce and moving house I’ve not managed to get it on the agenda. However I’m away in it for 2 nights this weekend. Finally!!

Not driven mine for a couple of weeks now - must check the battery. But only cause I got a new Audi TT toy.
