No sound from infotainment system

Hi there - very new to all this but our radio/ infotainment system has suddenly no sound - not for radio, Sat nav, phone etc . We haven’t muted it and gone through the sound settings - any ideas would be gratefully received!

If it's a VW OE one press and hold the power button for around 10 seconds or more to force it to reboot - that's the first thing to try.

The first thing I'd try is turn the left hand knob clockwise but deffo press and hold for 10 would be the 2nd.

Do you use the volume control on the steering wheel? I discovered recently that if you press and hold the volume down button a little too long, it mutes the sound, and the only way to un-mute it I found was to press and hold the volume up button for a few seconds.
