Newbie T6 Advice on Rubber Floor To Ply Lined Load Area

Hi All, really enjoying the forums here and learning loads as a newbie. Thanks for all the great advice. I recently acquired SWB T6 panel van which is plylined. I have it booked in with a conversion company for carpet lining, insulation and soundproofing and rear windows. Not doing full Kombi conversion at the mo but wanted to have rear load area with a rubber floor. There is ply on there presently. However, having been quoted £750+VAT for the rubber floor, I'm wondering if the ply floor there at present would suffice and then rubber mat over it or do they do insulation and better fit with VW mats etc for this quote. All advice welcome. :)

I’m just having mine converted and have removed the rubber mating for a hard floor with vinyl top my converter doesn’t insulate under the ply as it’s not needed others might disagree but why put something in if it’s not going to make a big difference only my views
cheers paint
