It's the torque you should look at. According to the page I just found: the 150ps TDI has 340nm. While the 150ps TSI has 280nm.

If I was carting about the additional weight of a camper conversion I would want more torque all day long.

Apparently there is a 204ps TSI has 350nm. But I presume they command an extortionate premium.

Very easily mapped to near on 300bhp for not a lot of money I believe

Hi Guys / still on the hunt for a TSI, pretty rare as discussed - my other concern is the leaking window issue - especially after swearing I’d never buy a car with a sun roof again - sounds like all the Vw OE side windows are prone to leaks - does everyone just put up with this or is there a fix by now.?

I haven't had any trouble with mine.
