New T6.1 Highline Towbar - Pictures Attached

Hi All,

Just got my new T6.1 Highline and wondering what i need to complete the towbar installation.

I have read the posts on here, but i cant quite workout what I'm looking for..

Don’t see a towbar module there which would mean no towbar prep so assume you would need a full wiring kit

@Pauly I was thinking the same, just every picture looks different. So cable from the cab back and a full loom needed?

Has anyone fitted a genuine Towbar wiring kit to a T6.1 without trailer prep?

I've just fit the Westfalia towbar to my new 72 plate T28 SWB panel van yesterday and have a vehicle specific wring kit which i haven't fit yet but I'm thinking of getting a genuine kit if one is available? Does anyone have any experience of fitting the genuine kit? Is it fairly straight...

What does the towbar prep look like? Also if it has the towbar prep do you still need things coded after fitting a Westfalia detachable bar? Cheers

Towbar prep means partial wiring and control module are in situ from the factory and its a simplified install, no coding required

Just checking to confirm that I have towbar prep on this, see photo. Ta

If you have towbar prep you will have the towbar module fitted under the drivers seat (rear left)

Yes that’s it, the large one os the towbar module and the small one is the LED headlight range control module
