New member - Brecon Beacons :-)

Morning All,

Joined the club last month - first time owning, we're dipping our toes in (2 adults, 2 kids 7/5 and a dog) with a few weekends this year and possibly a trip to Europe
All being well, we'll start to either spend money on this little motor end of the year, or look to swap up if we really get the love!
We're based in the Brecon Beacons, so already surrounded by perfect conditions to be out once we have slightly warmer weather

Just a small few things to start - unfortunately diesel heater isn't working - appears the leisure battery is dead (guys at RTW have it at the moment), so a job to start the year off!

I'm a have fairly competent have a go type, so a bit of learning on the fly with the help of YouTube and hopefully the forum

Welcome! Jealous that you have such nice countryside on your doorstep. I'm over in Southend, Essex and regularly find myself driving to Wales to ride my mountain bike.

I only got my van in September and haven't actually been away in it yet but looking forward to some trips myself this year.

Has yours already been converted? I'm sure im not the only person interested in seeing more photos.

Not sure if you were getting the battery done at RTW or not, but if not i can give you the details of the wholesaler i used in Merthyr. The guy there also kindly looked over the set up to check it out and gave me contact details for a local who does electrics. Let me know if you want the info - i will have to look it up it is around here somewhere!!!

Welcome to the club! I got mine in October 2024, been and stayed in the New Forest, France & Austria. Enjoyed all of them. You'll never have enough space, equipment or room to carry stuff. I keep finding things to add

Thanks - I didn't get the battery done at RTW (no reason - it just wasn't on the 'to do' and they're a good 2 hour round trip)
