New battery and alternator, van won't start

Should add the video was taken with a jumper pack on the battery cos as I said it was draining so quick

Sorry, I meant that ignition off was 11.7 and when ignition on it was powered off - should be the other way = ignition OFF nothing, and ignition ON about 12 V (battery voltage) to make ECU work.

Strange - can you verify it by measuring (e.g. clamp meter on battery cable).

J329 is not related to ECU. The ECU is fed via relay J271 (supplying ECU via fuse SB32).
 
Think I've found the cause of the battery draw... When I turn the van over the key stays in position 2 and continues cranking when I loose it, guess the starter motor is staying engaged causing he draw. Any idea what would make this happen? But surely that wouldnt cause it not to fire up?

looking at this today. Main injection, duration of activation is zero Log attached

Cant clear the low voltage issue. just cleaning the earth straps

are you getting a RPM signal via VCDS? ( when cranking?)
 

rail pressure builds and looks good... but no injection ( im thinking lost rpm?)

redo the chart, but add in the same PIDS as mine below.

so you have rail pressure,

you have starter motor,

you have rpm signal,

but its not firing the injectors?

is it running the glow plugs? - data PID?

will it fire with easy start?


so defiantly a fuel delivery issue?
 
The ecu is not activating the injectors from what I can see. We are wondering if the alternator clutch failing has caused an issue with the aux belt and maybe caused the timing belt to skip a tooth
