HI All.
I recently replaced my offside drive shaft on my 2019 cxha dsg van 91k on the clock......no issues there even for a novice like myself. It had a new engine at 52k miles. I had a wobble under the van at 40-50 mph that disappeared when not accelerating and anywhere before and after that mph and thought this would cure it. It hasn't, I'm now thinking I should probably change the nearside driveshaft as well so I know both components are good. Firstly is it the same process? I know the nearside is shorter having looked online but the drivers side one also attached via two bolts and not just the spline and wheel nut. I see that the nearside one doesn't have that. Is that the only differences before I start to order parts..... Is the ball joint the same as the drivers side?
If this doesn't sort the issue what is my next port of call??
Any help would be much appreciated.
