Mystery switch

We have a 2010 Hillside Birchover and after looking at the domestic wiring i had come to the conclusion that it had been subject to operator witchcraft, but after readi g the posts on Hillside wiring I am not entirely sure.
I have CaprainQuicks 2015 wiring diagram, thank you but my van has an aftermarket switch on the dash, see attached. It is a momentary switch, I initially thought it was the alarm isolation.

If Hillside Birchover installed it they’ll know the answer, send them an email with the photo and van details.
If anybody else fitted it unless they are on this Forum and see the discussion you won’t get a definitive answer here, nobody has a crystal ball.
The second thing I’d do after contacting the converter is pull the switch out and see if it’s connected, if so is it key switch on or off, main battery or leisure battery and so on….

Actually - DXX - might do it the other way round. That might be a purely decorative button. A feature for kids to play with to keep them quiet.

It doesn’t look like a Hillside factory addition as generally they won’t modify anything in the cab area due to their need to conform with type approval spec. Most likely it’s a mod from a previous owner, either done by themselves or a third party auto electrician. If it’s a single pole momentary switch with one side connected to earth with 0.5mm² cable it may well be a remote tailgate release. I would be inclined to carefully remove the switch using a plastic trim removal tool and see what’s behind it..

Its not to switch the radio feed from the starter battery to the leisure battery maybe ?

That was my initial thought as well, and what I was thinking of doing myself.
