Moving the media in USB

move the media in(USB socket) for my app connect from the top glove box to the more sensible smaller one by the gear selector?

There is a blank where it could go...

I have bought the bits (but not fitted) to install double usb setup in a modded comfort dash, the outlets are different from standard single outlet setup
Single vs double usb outlets have different internal connections 4 wire vs 6 wire

Haven't done it, but cannot think why it's not possible, as the manufactures make the USB part removable from the plastic trim.. I would have thought it's a pretty easy swap over

I might do this then, as the work involved is the same I might as well have both.

Hi, know it's bit of an old thread but how did you get on with the double USB change? Just got my new van with comfort dash but seem to be missing the extra USB in the pocket next to gear lever

Its an expensive exercise as requires 2 new usb outlets and a splitter box to install, circa £200 if memory serves

Hi maybe an old thread but I really want to get all the parts, including the splitter, so i can put an additional USB in the comfort dash lower center console. Any help would be appreciated
