Mobiframe double swivel base

Evening all. Has anyone had the Mobiframe double swivel fitted to their front double cab seat?

Trying to decide between the Kiravans double swivel and Mobiframe.

The Mobiframe seems much simpler but looking for real life experience if possible.

TIA 😊

I have the mobiframe quick release one fitted

I have no experience with any others but the main reason I picked the mobiframe is that I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of unscrewing 5/6 screws, storing them when swivelled

Fitting was super easy, I don't think I even looked at instructions, I can't remember if it even came with some.

Was a little tight at first when swivelling but it is now easy to do.

The only minor thing I can fault with it is when swivelled Id like some way to lock it in place so when using the seat as a step to get in the poptop it doesn't move.
I understand they didn't do that so you can't lock it in the wrong orientation and drive away.

Thank you. That’s a good summary.
Think we will go with this one for exactly those reasons, no bolts to mess around with.

I’m interested in one of these. Having watched an install movie, is it correct that all of the electrical connectors and fuse box need to be removed from the seat and pushed in to the cavity below the swivel base?

So if you need to test any fuses it’s necessary to remove the seat and swivel to check?

Yes that would be what you have to do.

Isn’t that the same for all the double swivel bases?

Also another plus for this frame (I'll confirm at a later date)

It looks like the side profile allows for a reasonable thick cable to be routed underneath the frame.
I'm planning on putting my 70mm² cable under there for earthing purposes.
It will be a couple of weeks until I find out for sure though.

This is my thoughts too - keep it simple!

Does the handbrake need altered to allow it to fully rotate? I know some swivel seat bases do.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Just thought I'd drop back in and confirm that I could fit both my 25mm² and 70mm² cables under the frame
This includes the use of the earthing point under the passenger seat
