Minor accident advice wanted

Might be an idea to take it to Audi to make sure it is only a scrape.
My wife's previous Polo was nudged at the back, and there was only a small mark on the rear bumper that I thought I could buff off.
We had no blame policy, so went through insurance , and were surprised when we saw what damage had been done behind bumper. you could'nt see until bumper was off.
Hope ok.

Don't mention it. I asked a few years back after someone had hit my mums car, hit and run. Nothing major damage wise just some sciluffs. Her insurance company told me if I disclose the policy to them it would most likely go up even if she doesn't claim. It's just not worth the hassle. If there's no major damage and shes already not replying to you, why bother with the stress and extra insurance premiums for the next 5 years!! If you phone the insurance they will log against you and any others on your car.

I think we should take a lesson from Southern Europe where vehicles acquire knocks and life goes on, spend the £ on enjoyable things instead of insurance premiums.
Insurance premiums in the UK are very expensive partly because there are so many claims for what is very minor damage.

You know what robbing bar stewards insurance companies are, any excuse to bump up your premiums, even if you report it but don't claim, it'll more than likely cost you less to repair your car at your own cost.

What I’ve found is that good bodyshops are so busy with overpriced insurance repairs they can’t afford to do other private work. Insurance assessors seem to be in on the act or there aren’t enough of them to keep up.
