I just noticed the question mark so that actually asked is it not to small for the t6 , does state for a T5 so possibly need some modification

Does anyone have dimensions for the engine under tray as i'm thinking of Laser cutting one from Stainless or Ali?

Have you thought about the weight? It’s hard enough to get the plastic one in place after an oil change unless the van is lifted.

..Yeah noted, Ali should be light enough, bit of an experiment TBH. It wouldn't be the full tray with sides etc , more a skid plate.

Pretty sure they’re readily available instead of custom made, have seen a discussion on this in the past.

I think it's as much about the shape of it rather than just the size .
I've got one you could draw around if you were in Somerset.

If I was going to make one I get an OEM plastic one and build a wood frame to fit and then fabricate the aluminium plate to that. Much easier than trying to fit to the van itself.
