I have a 150 2016 shuttle turn camper. It was shuttle but now a camper.
Yesturday I noticed some weird stuff happening.
I have fitted the traveline lite footwell lights and the saxoboy vw puddle lights so these have been wired in different to factory.
I have removed the rear interior sensor but the front is still active.
I have fitted a T6 MFSW but have not been able to get the cruise on yet until I buy a newer vcds lead. However I did not have this problem before or after I fitted the wheel so I do not thinkthe problem is related however I could be wrong.
The van had rear heating etc but all the wiring has been left and is in the pop top frame. The connectors are not connected to anything.
I was sleeping in the camper the other night. I lock the van using the button on near the elec windows and mirror adjuster. When I got up at night and lifting the pop top bed (I leave it down if on the rock n roll to make it darker and warmer) the footwell lights turned on. I tried it later by making a noise or moving without lifting the bed but they did not come on until I lifted the bed which was odd.
Driving home I noticed the footwell lights were on. No doors were open and the interior light switch was turned off. I turned it to open with the doors and the lights came on. As I accelarated and got to 4th gear they then started going on, off, on off etc smoothly.
So thats weird I thought.
Anyway to top it all off further I have a manual gearbox and going up hill it told me to change from 6th to 5th gear, totally normal BUT ................. I was in 5th gear. I stopped and went through all gears, I have all gears except a 5th gear. Instead of have 2x 6th gears.
What on earth is going on, is it haunted? I've had a pretty crap time with making it into a camper so maybe its cursed ha ha ha
Any ideas on what to try would be appreciated. I have no idea what it uses to know what gear it is in. The van has 14k miles on so is not a work van, It usually lives tucked away in the workshop.
The camper has 400w solar and 2x 110ah batteries but these are seperated from the van so there is 2 seperate systems.
