New to the forum and enjoying the information on here .
I have a 2018 T6 that has just started losing coolant. After a 300 mile drive the light came on . The van took 1.5 litres of water and reservoir was full before trip.
Done the obvious checks and found no leaks.
Did notice a small bit of grey sludge in the oil filler.
I have two questions that you might be able to help me with
1- Any idea of what the problem may be (Head gasket,EGR etc.)
2- I am currently abroad with the van and have a 200mile journey back to the boat.
With the water and oil topped up is it safe to make the journey. Do you think that the journey will damage the engine or even worse seize the engine.The van was driving perfect except for the dreaded light coming on as no loss of power.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
