Lines running on my drop down dvd player

Hi, I've installed an alpine drop down dvd in the rear for the kids.

If the engine isn't running its fine but once started it has lines running across it.

The wiring comes from the fuse board in the centre console beneath the gear lever. Bottom passenger side. Any help much appreciated.

I've had a look today.















The interference seems to be coming from the actual head unit























I've got the kenwood dnx518vdabs link via a video cable to a now xtrons display HD unit. So if I play a dvd on the head unit I/we can control it from the front I.e change disk an fast forward Etc































but upon a closer inspection you can see the same lines on the headunit obviously due to the size of the screen it's less noticeable.
