Leisure Battery issues

Hi, apologies if this has been covered in other threads but I have a specific issue. I bought my 2017 T6 in November last year, we've only just round to using it and have found that the leisure battery is not holding charge. I took it out and ran a repair cycle on it this week and it registered 13v on completion, but I've just put it back in and the readout says 7.14v and runs down as soon as I turn a light on or the fridge. I have feeling it's not a proper leisure battery so am looking to replace it. The Van battery in the engine bay on purchase was a Yuasa YBX5100 which turned out to not be a start stop battery so had to replace that with a Yuasa YBX7096. It's an Ex RAC van so hope the electrics have been set up properly, but the wiring under the passenger seat is not tidy and I'm struggling to get my head around just replacing the battery and hoping everything works as it should or if anyone here can see any red flags from these pics. Any advice gratefully received

If it’s been as low as 7V possibly for months you can safely say it’s toast, especially if it doesn’t hold a charge.
The YBX is just a standard lead acid battery, you would be better off with a good AGM.

Your battery under the passenger seat also looks like it might be the original engine battery or similar if it’s a moll battery so looks way past its best anyway. Also looking at your leisure setup I’m concerned that your positives seem very close to the seat base with no insulation to prevent them shorting against the seat base. Also is the leisure battery clamped down by a lamp or a strap?

Thanks for your reply. No you're absolutely right it's not clamped or strapped down. I've been looking at the Eco-Worthy 12v 100AH LifePo4 Lithium battery, do you think I could just swap them over or does the lithium battery need a different relay or wiring setup.? The Yuasa L28 EFB is also on my possible list.
Thanks

Lithium will depend on what your current charging setup is. Do you know if you have a b2b or split charge setup? B2B will be much better for either lithium or agm batteries. Also I guess you don’t have solar on the roof so should look at a mains charger for topping up your leisure battery when your on site with hook up or the vans sitting at home for long periods.
