With an eBay discount code that ends tonight on Renogy and other batts would now be the ideal time to buy one ? If so what is the best value for money and will fit under a single passenger seat for no more than £400 ??
Any help much appreciated .
P.s. please help I know nothing

Not familiar with the manufacturer, are they any good ?

It's a bit like the chinese deisel heaters tbh. Some are fine with them for £100 then some only want the originals like webasto for £800. You can pay £300 for a well known battery brand that might last 10 years or buy a chinese copy for £100 and hope it lasts 3 years or more. It's all swings and roundabouts.
The biggest concen for most users is will it explode? 😂

Bu88ered if I would want to sleep in the same space as one of those! @JumpShip Don't do it!!!

Me? I have a Sterling 80ah. Cost me £180 3 years ago but where was it manufactured? China probably. :think smile bounce:

Like I said. Same as chinese deisel heaters. Show me one post here where they've blown up. 🤷‍♂️

Certainly Chinese E car batteries are actually less prone to thermal runaway events than Western manufacturers.

Is your charger ok for a lithium?

The batteries are pretty small, you might get 2 under the drivers seat depending on what else you have under there.

No charger isn't compatible so I'll need one of those too ....plus solar ...monitoring system .....
Potable solar suitcase first, before you mess with your roof. I managed happily on a 220watt renogy suitcase.
That will fill up 2x 100Ah batteries happily.
It kept my 230Ah battery full, no installation worries...

This may .
not happen all in one go , solar might be 'phase 2' ...all depends on what time I get to fit it all out before we go away next .
Total rewire will be in order .
