Kombi Day Van USB & Electric location ideas

Hi all.

Getting the leisure battery and electrics sorted on the van soon and wondering where everyone has installed their various modules such as USB sockets, 12v etc.

Interested to see what everyone has got. All very personal choice I know. We are currently thinking usbs and 12v outlets in base boards behind the drivers and passenger seats so the kids can use them and we can use out the sliding door as needed

Also thinking usb / 12v and 240v outlets near tailgate

I drilled into the rear of seat bases and the carpeted ply wall panels in my Kombi. Found it worked very well. Just make sure theres space behind the positions you choose. Plus I did find placing the battery voltmeter in a seat base challenging with my senior eyes . Last image (bit difficult to see) is an Anderson socket I installed for the fridge on a slideout

When you say voltmeter, did you install a display monitor and any switches?

I have decided against the monitor and then just one switch for the lights. Think I’m happy enough to leave usbs and 12v sockets on ( hopfully i wing regret it )

And run all the lights and sockets off that? Or just charge things and use the outlets on power station?

Where do you store the bluetti?

I like the idea of the portability so you can take out out for sure

I've got a cut off switch and fuse box under the front of the drivers seat with battery behind it. Not the best place; especially for the cut off switch. the voltmeter is just one of those round combined voltage display/usb sockets. I'm forever changing layouts though. Never seem to be happy with how it functions. In process of upgrading auxillary battery so I think that will be the third under seat layout swap around. All my sockets/lights can be disabled with the kill switch under the seat except the fused Anderson connection for the fridge which is wired directly to the battery.

Run the cables back to wherever you can put the power station, then plug them into the outlets.

It should fit under a seat I'd expect.
