Rear ground already taken up by van electrics

Hi All,

Was running the Earth ground cable from my Victron Multiplus but it appears the ground connection I was going to use at the rear driver side is already taken up by the van electrics. Am I okay to still earth here or should I find another location? Given this relates to the 240v multiplus system I’m not sure if it can share a ground point with the vans 12v electrics? I’m sure I read somewhere that the 240v must be at least 30cm away from the 12v but I could be misremembering! I’ve done this already with my cable routes/conduit.

Can I still ground 240v here?

@Dellmassive your advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

You are fine to share ground points. The 30cm spacing I really don't think is a must in terms of the setup more for being neatt and keeping things separate. Apparently it reduces noise and interference but I really don't see the need in a van.

Yes you can share that chassis bolt.

Or you can drill a new hole on the frame and add a new nut and bolt.... With cleaned metal.
