Knocking Noise When Pulling Away

As title says, when the van has been standing for an hour or so and you pull away, there's a knocking noise coming from the front RH wheel (I think). I can feel it through the accelerator peddle as well.
It only knocks a few times, as I turn the wheel and then goes away.

Any ideas?

Brake binding on the disk?

Or more of a suspension knock?

I was thinking possibly the brakes binding but wasn't sure.
With the noise going after a couple of minutes it would point to the brakes.
Only one way to find out I suppose....

Well it has to be.....

Brakes...

Suspension joints....

Drive train links . . . . .

But your have to give a bit more details to narrow it down.

And what van? DSG. 4motion. Manual. Petrol. Diesel.

Just came across this video that also provides an explanation as to the knocking noise.

See around 8m20s or so when he has the van lifted…

Easy enough to jack the wheels up one at a time and check for free play or signs of movement in bushes.
