Kitchen or not to kitchen..

As I have a blank canvas I'm considering running a rock n roll bed no kitchen and looking at pods/other ways possibly drop down trays from the barn doors to mount portable items too - potentially a fixed fridge but thats it so far - have many of you opted for 'no kitchen' ? new to the forum and vans so still finding my feet - will be doing much searching for ideas - the benefit of a bare shell now is I have plenty of options :)

I would recommend thinking about how you want to use the van for camping .i.e just a bed to get your head down, be able to get a brew on, how long your going away for. Everyone has different ideas about what they want out of their van. I've found that as the years have progressed and the offspring grown up leaving just two of us I've gradually thinned out out on interior fittings. Can't be bothered with fixed cookers and gas boxes ect. Don't even want a pop top nowadays. I'm happy with a bed, fridge, sink and some storage.

I have a full width bed and a unit with fridge, one gas ring and a small sink. Which can be lifted out if I don’t need it. 👍
