Kiravan handbrake lowering kit issue

Hi Everyone,

I’ve just fitted a Kiravan handbrake lowering kit as per instructions however the new aftermarket trim seems to restrict the movement of the original vw plastic handbrake arm/hand grip and binds up or pulls on the new plastic trim.

Also the new trim doesn’t seem to slot I’ve the locator pins properly.

Any advice is appreciated
