I treat my camping frying pans as consumable, get them from Wilkos for £2-3 and chuck them after a few uses. Not very environmentally friendly I know but got sick of expensive pans getting wrecked
We went through a couple of sets of Coleman's equivalent range quite quickly a few years back before we started doing as @andys suggest and treating the frying pans as consumables and replacing when the coating started to fail. We now use a decent set of stainless steal pans for camping that are 20 years old and still looking good and going strong but no longer use a frying pan - this is all now done on the Cadac chef plate. Whatever you use, make sure you don't use any metal utensils in them.
