Just bought a set of VW Amarok Rocadura 17 wheels

Just bought these Amarok Rocadura wheels and have been lining up a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3 245/65/17 to go with them

I’ve definitely got 30mm spacers for the rears and 10 or 20mm (I think) on the front. Has anyone else any experience of running these tyres and wheels? TIA

I tried some Amarok 17" Rocaduras to make sure they would fit on my T30 van. (I had some 17" Aldos but they interfered with the brake calipers on the front)
They still had the (new) Amarok 245/65 x 17 tyres and seemed Ok, but was going to change them to 235/55 x 17 to keep everything standard.
I didn't go ahead with the purchase, but wish I had now, as I haven't seen any more come up for sale since

I’ve got the wheels but if I buy the 245/65/17 Wildpeaks and put them on would they be illegal ? I’m confused because I see hundreds of over sized wheels on transporters but surely they can’t all be illegal?

I'm not sure of the MOT rules in the UK but in NZ they would require a "low volume modification" certificate for being oversize.
In saying that I had slightly oversize tyres on my other car, and it never got questioned for 20 years until this year.
Others from UK on the forum would be best to answer that.
