Spare wheel advice (sorry)

I know theres a million pages about this, i just flicked through loads of them and i cant get a definitive result. Plus, i think im a bit slow tbh

I've purchased & fitted 17 inch sexy swamper wheels with 235/65/17 Falken Wild Peaks. The van had 16 clayton wheels on previously. I've used a couple of the helpful calculators from the forum.

Q: Has anyone/would i be able to fit 225/65R16 under the van? This is roughly a 5 percent over all diameter, so should be ok to get me out of trouble.

I know you guys must be tyred of this question sorry.

I have the same size wheels and tyres and had an extended spare wheel carrier fitted by Mat at T5/T6 Upgrades

At the mo theres nothing stopping you getting to that bolt with stilsons or similar so its not doing anything to protect against theft . Needs to shroud the head of the bolt .

Yep, that photo was taken by T5 Upgrades and was fitted correctly after I saw it and before it left the shop

I went with Rouge Alloys CC1’s. No regrets. Minimal road noise at all tbh. It's completely transformed the look of the van
