I've only been looking for a couple of months for a replacement van, in that time I've discovered I can have most types of van If I have Indium Grey, coming from a dark van 'Starlight Blue', I fancy a lighter colour.
I've found one I like but it doesn't tick all my boxes, i.e it doesnt have LED lights, but it does have everything else. OK i could carry on looking for that elusive van, but during this time I've discovered that the lack of sales appears to have pushed values of late T6.1's higher, and several times I've had dealers trying to steer me towards a T7, although I did have a wry smile recently when I overheard a salesman telling someone his 'real opinion'.
So I'm at a quandary, do i jump with a nearly new van that ticks most boxes, adding the LED's later, or carry on looking...... not sure which way to turn at the moment.

If the van you have found ticks all boxes but LED headlights, Id go for it and add the lights later. Seems an easy decision to me!

I spent a year on and off looking for a replacement van with exactly the same mindset of ticking all the boxes. You will know when you have found the right one and there will be no hesitation. LED's shouldn't be a deal breaker you just need to factor in the upgrade cost at a later date.

Good, clean, low mileage 6.1s will get harder to find each day. Don't miss out on one foe a minor spec issue that you could potentially resolve inexpensively anyway.

You're all right, the base van is right, sure it doesnt tick all boxes, but I see a lot of potential in the van. Its a white Kombi, I put a deposit down on this Thursday and hope to pick it up Wednesday. I've discovered it still has a service plan that I'm led to belive is transferrable after speaking to VW. After checking the build sheet I've also discovered it was made in the last week of production. Now just waiting for Wednesday......

Congratulations @SAJO I just got mine which is actually a panel van, but highly specc'd like yours but no LED. All told they do the job to be fair.
