This might help wonder if that pad is to stop a leak ? Or just been fitted in a rush

Thanks Albel. The wonky pads on mine aren't even in that video and seem to be on all end mounts but maybe not the middle ones. I'll have to have a better look tomorrow. I can't see how they'd stop a leak. Part of me doesn't want to take off the bars to investigate – do I really want to know what's lurking beneath???
