I took the bulkhead out and noticed that the passenger seat seams to be missing a part, or are they all like this?

Thanks

I would say you are yes, also looks like your missing the bottom trim on both sides as well that fills the hole in the metalwork (unless you have removed them ?)

I'd say it's meant to be like that. If you were to remove the cover on the drivers seat you'll see some extra pieces of plastic that the cover clips into. They aren't there on the plastic side covers on the passenger seat.

Thanks for the replies.

I have not removed anything off the seats. (Just taken the bulkhead out.)
Guess I can make something for the lower metal part. Wonder if there is a part retro fit-able to hide the gap in the passenger seat.

I was thinking a leisure battery could go under the passenger seat but there is lots of wiring, I plan on putting the consumer unit for the mains hookup under there. I'm now thinking there won't be enough room.

I would imagine they’re interchangeable between the T5 and T6.

I need to fit a 110Ah, a Ring DC-DC Charger, fuses, a mains battery and a consumer unit somewhere... I was hopeful for an underseat sub but am coming round to the idea that it won’t all fit.

If my 230V hookup cable is fitted under the bonnet, I have to mount the consumer within 2 metres - is that right?

If not, I might be able to mount the consumer unit in the furniture and keep the cable in the engine bay (rather than mounting it under the rear bumper, etc).

If anyone has got a set up with those bits, please show. That Ring charger is massive and won’t be leaving me much room!

Can you show me a pic of your passenger seat where that bit fits please?

As far as I am aware, you are correct it should be within 2m.

Thanks, and really it was the bit on the back of seat I meant not the metal base unit. ref the arrow on my pic.

I have a PV with a bulkhead, LHD though. Both my seats have that "missing" centre cover. The actual seat base - just bare metal as in your picture. Are your seats identical - arm rests, heating, height adjustment, lumbar support, airbag, etc?

No the passenger seat does not have armrests. height adjustment or lumbar (without going checking.)

Both have heating, neither has an airbag.
