Is it worth the extra for Gladen over Alpine?

I have a T6.1 Panel van that I’m starting to convert. I’m not sure what head unit I have but it has inbuilt sat nav and Apple CarPlay.
Looking to upgrade the front tweeters and door speakers for plug and play option from either Alpine or Gladen. Originally I was set on the Alpine kit, but then noticed a similar kit from Gladen. The Gladen is more expensive so my question is does it warrant the extra £100 or so?
I’m no audio purist but want to upgrade to something decent that won’t break the bank.
I was also thinking of the Alpine sub kit to match that fits under the drivers seat but not sure what direction I'm going with my conversion yet as to whether that’s where I’ll have heating etc.
I’m not a big bass fan and wondered if the Gladen was better than the Alpine whether I’d need a sub?
Also, If I were to put speakers in the rear of my van what would I need? I will be sound deadening doors and interior.

Fited my Gladen speakers the other day, with some sound deadening in the doors, and what a diference they made, and i only have the basic radio! i'm over the moon with them

T6 have 8" speakers , T6.1 (from 2020) have 6.5". Gladen supply 2 different kits for the right van.

Yes, but I later added alpine halo. Together give a decent sound, to my ears anyway

Cheers. Got upgradeitis, Just got off the phone to Absolut5 audio. Super helpful chap Noel so they got the job. Going with a full amp and Gladen set up with rears and a sub. Day out in Salisbury next month!

I cannot comment on Gladens or Alpine, I have always used Audison and been impressed, they do take a few months to run in though.

Spend the time and effort on soundproofing, makes a huge difference. I had to remove the glass and window regulator plate to get in there properly.

You can fit the 8" speakers into T6 doors but you'll need to fabricate or buy collars to mount the speakers to as the original door speakers are 6.5" in some crappy plastic reducer collars.
As an highly dubious artisan craftsman I fashioned some out of plywood using a knife and fork plus some fettling with a small square of sandpaper...
