Is it possible to install reverse camera & 3 seater bench?

Hello there, my brother in law looking to buy 2017 or 2018 vw Caravelle. He had viewing for a 2018 model yesterday. It has Alcantra seats, but no led/xenon lights and reverse camera. Is it possible to install reverse camera on to the existing media unit or has the whole unit is to be replaced? Also can after market led headlamps be installed to replace the halogen? He also have plans to replace the 2 captain seats in the middle row to the 3 seater bench? Your suggestions please.

It is possible to install a reversing camera but it is dependant upon what head unit is installed. The base model won’t take a camera, the higher spec ones will. I’ve done this, photo below.
Headlights are more challenging. You can get aftermarket headlights with LED DRLS but not with LED main lights, the only option would be to retrofit genuine LED headlights.

You can fit a reverse cam to all head units, however the basic media unit requires a very expensive interface
