Fitting Isofix fixtures to Kombi 3 Seat bench

Hello good people of the Forum,

We have purchased a European T6 Caravelle (Shuttle in the UK?) and it has the 3 seat bench in the rear second row (fixed fixture type).

Unfortunately, the seats do not have the two outer isofix points. Is it possible to retrofit the isofix points? For example purchase the original parts and fit?

I know the same seats can come with Isofix, and wondered if the fixture points would be there to add the brackets and just not used in our bench?

Many thanks for any feedback.

Cheers,
Alan

Triple rear benches dont fetch a huge amount of money, add a photo of yours with the trim and might even find someone selling one with isofoix for sensible money. Otherwise I think you can just get aftermarket Isofix kits although havent actually used one myself.

the Isofix on the rear bench is little loops welded onto the rear support bar under the seat so I very much doubt you can retrofit it.

as @archersam says best bet would be to try and find one with it on already or use a kit.

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. Much appreciated

Thanks all for the feedback. I agree with you both, looks best to find a second hand triple with isofix. Luckily, came across one for 200 quid :)
sounds a good result! im sure you can also sell your old one to recoup some of the cost!
