Internal light console removal

Hi, does anyone have any instructions how to remove this ceiling console?. I've removed two screws but it is still firmly attached to the ceiling.

Actually, to hijack this thread... The part at the rear of the console, I have a rectangular blanking plate fitted, does anybody make anything to replace that that allows for the use of that space? Not that I don't have enough storage, but every time I look at the console I start thinking...
