I have just replaced the ignition switch on my T6 Caravelle in the hope it will cure a battery drain problem. Switch was only about £20 online and is easy to fit - Bud if you want to do it properly on a car like mine you need to remove the steering will to release the bottom cover. I tried to be clever and ended up breaking off the mounting clip at the top right of the lower cover. The switch itself is held in place by 2 grub screws which when loosened allow the switch to be withdrawn from under the barrel.
