How to stop rain between awning and van

We've a fiamma f45s fitted to our t6.1 swb van and are looking to buy a rain guard to stop the water running down behind the awning at side of van.
On the fiamma store there is a fiamma rainguard kit but it's £88. There's also a rain guard water strip that you can get in different sizes and lengths that is cheaper.
Does anyone know the difference or which one would be recommended?

I know there are other cheaper alternatives out there, even pipe lagging etc, but that Fiamma rainguard kit is worth a lot more than £88 to us. It's a fit and forget, no more dribbles or waterfalls where you don't want them!

@Wandering Pumpkin
I tried the pool noodle / pipe lagging method and still had annoying drips landing on the sliding door side step
Bought the expensive genuine Fiamma rain guard kit last year and just now need to cut it to length & fit.
Currently it’s in the “parts to fit ” pile of Vw stuff that I have!!!

Hopefully no rain at Busfest then?!!

Sorry for pulling up an old thread.
I have just bought the Fiamma F45S and the rain guard to fit onto this.

According tp the vague instructions it should be fitted to the lower section of the F45, however near the top on the back is a slot the width of the adhesive section of the Rain Guard.

Which is the correct place to fit please?? Photo for reference

Mines on the lower section on the back of the Fiamma. The flap bit is pretty much horizontal going on to the roof.
Still works well even after I had to cut it to accommodate the Vamoose rail/fiamma brackets after a windy incident up north!
Attach it along the same line as the word 'Support'.

Thanks, I put my pop top up, unzipped it as i have a panorama canvas and worked out the top channel while close is not the right one.

Thanks for the reply @Drive Wayne , much appreciated.

I don't rate the 3m primer fluid very much though and I will feed that back to fiamma. It was a right @£$% to get it going and then went solid in the tube as quick as i tried to apply it
