How to remove this sealant?

My van’s old floor was held in place with tons of sealant. Is there an easier way to get rid of it? It’s becoming a massive mission, and the “silicone sealant remover” I’ve been using doesn’t seem to do much. Any tips?

Have you tried paint thinners from somewhere like Halfords?
Seems to melt most things apart from paint.

I've heard a Toffee / caramel wheel for your drill is good for taking adhesives off.
