How Do I Add A Led Light To The Rear ?

I want to add an internal LED strip light to the rear. I would like this to come on when the existing internal light comes on. I thought this would be a simple job to just hook up to the existing light, but there are 3 wires going to that and only 2 from the LED add on light. How do I do this ?
Apologies in advance I know nothing about the internal electrics.

as @Fish said above . . . . . @Deaky is a bit handy with an LED or two,

in the mean time here is some info:

***************************************************************************************
Factory Non-LED 3 wire setup:

(brown) - earth point left a-pilar
(brown/red) - connection 1 main harness (BCM switched neg 0v)
(red/black) - positive connection 1 main harness (BCM timed +12v) ( 7.5A fuse 24 holder C)
****************************************************************************************

so its:

brown/red is for the --- - 0v
red/black is for the --- +12v

to be extra safe you can add a 3 or 5amp inline blade fuse on the positive side.

As @Dellmassive says. Red/black +ve. Brown/red -ve. No need for a fuse as the circuit is already fused.

Being proper thick here but the add on LED has a red wire and a black wire.
The existing light has a brown wire, red / black wire and red / brown wire.
What do I connect to what to have them both working ?
Or should I just pay for it to be done ?

brown/red is for the --- - 0v >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> connect to (new LED BLACK wire)
red/black is for the --- +12v >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> connect to (new LED RED wire)

you need to splice the new red/black wires onto the existing wires so that the OEM and NEW lights all work together.

Really appreciate your patience. I’ll give it a go at the weekend.
Thanks again
Glenn, really easy mate and I'm an electrical thicko. Sounds daft but it's good to do some stuff yourself as it makes you appreciate your van. You'll amaze yourself when that LED lights up.
