Hotplate for Hob

Evening all, Just a random question to see if anyone has bought anything similar so i dont have to go and measure :D

I've got a slidepod with a SMEV 9222 ( I think ) right hand version with the hobs on the right, the wife is rather unpleased that our large Ridgemonkey pan doesnt fit on it without sitting on the edges of the SMEV. (We normally cook on a cadac on a table with the large pan ) Little ridgemonkey does but obviously you can't cook as much.

So thinking of buying like a hotplate that goes over both hobs. Anyone done so and if so which one have you bought that fits nicely in the recess ? Surprised there is nothing Dometic already availiable for such use, the only other thing i considered was if there was a "riser" of sorts to lift the pan grid higher but not sure if that would then reduce the effectiveness of the flame as they are not too high.

Hottest part of the. Flame is the tip. I would think there are a few safety issues with fitting a plate over the flame most of all unreliable combustion.
You’d need to find somewhere to store a heavy plate while driving.
There are plenty of small square cast iron pans that can cook as good as a Ridge Monkey or better.
