Horn with ignition off

Hi,

Can a 2018 T6 horn work with the ignition off?? Mine only works with ignition on, but has had cruise on steering wheel retrofitted.

I'm assuming because the horn now uses the LIN to control the horn, then it stops this function. I actually have no idea if it worked with ignition off before I fitted the cruise control.

Coding appears ok, I switched the function off and then back on but no luck.

Appreciate any thoughts on this

No it’s on the left hand stalk

I suspect that's why yours works as the horn will still be working the old fashioned way
