I'm looking to pre-prep food, bag, freeze, then boil in the bag to eat later.

What bags do I need to buy please?
I've seen kits on Amazon consisting of bags with some kind of sealer machine. Not sure what to buy.

Also, what food?
I'm thinking pasta Bolognese, chicken curry, pork with veg and potatoe, egg chorizo waffles etc.

I couldn't find a link for anything in that post above.

I've ordered these though:

Lakeland Soup 'n' Sauce Sealed Freezer Storage Bags, 500ml - Pack of 20 https://amzn.eu/d/0hXqwIN

I'll report back once I've used them on a trip.

Dunno how they will hold up to boiling, you might find that they pop open when the contents start to get hot. I had an issue with a batch of vacuum bags failing in the pot, turned out they weren't designed or intended for sous vide cooking. I buy proper sous vide bags now. I have 2 vac pack machines, the conventional type that most people are familiar with, that sucks out the air & then seals the bag. These are ok, but can be tricky when vaccing "wet" food, as the liquid gets sucked out too & can stop the seal from sealing properly. I have now bought a chamber type sealer that doesn't have that problem, but is considerably more expensive. I do a lot of vac packing of home made food, so I can justify having 2 different machines. If I was just doing "Van Food" it could be a tad overkill. Keep a look out in Aldi & Lidl, they often have vac machines in at reasonable costs.

This is the chamber sealer I have

And this is the conventional sealer

Thanks @Salty Spuds
The reviews of the bags I bought say they can be boiled. We shall see. Failing that I'll take a look at one of those machines
