Hissing from under van at idle

I have gas escaping from the small hole pictured in this pipe - what is the reason for this and is it normal?

Which box is it from this picture?.

I can't imagine why you would have a hole in the exhaust at that point in the system.

It is dated 2024 so I'm assuming you have a new t6.1 van?

Hi thanks for the reply and yes it's a 2024 t6.1 150ps

The hole faces the ground looks factory and is at the rear of the centre box in the pic you sent

So after the cat and DPF then...

It may be just a drain hole for a moisture or water build up?. Silencer onlyr after that point which is low pressure.

I haven't got a t 6.1 to compare

Yes I've got a hole there too. '24 6.1.

obvs a drain hole, OEM from factory.

AKA nothing to worry about.
