Thinking of getting Black or Grey Ply Hex floor for my van only concern is keeping it clean. I have now removed the Kombi seats and will be getting a RIB 150 in the back.

Anyone have this type of flooring in their van and some pictures would be good.

I am intrigued by this too, as I did consider it when I was looking around for Y Shape rear options. Does look excellent in fairness and would match my Ovano and my hex okay side panels.

From my experience of the hex side panels, they do tend to grab dirt in the raised hex sections, as they were designed for grip basically. If you run your hand over them they collect oils and dirt from skin, so dirt from shoes will definitely show up I reckon. The raised hex section can scuff as well, so you they might not stay as black as you might like.

This is just my thoughts based on what I have though, so not based on experience of having the flooring.

I have used black hex to build a cupboard and from what I've seen its very hard to clean, because of its rough texture for grip when you wipe it with a cloth it grabs fibres and then sometimes its best to wait until its dry and then use a stiff brush. Maybe experiment with an off cut if you have a bit before biting the bullet. I guess most people use vinyl flooring because its so durable and easy to clean so is it possible to buy that with a similar colour/pattern combo?

Vanbus hex ply floor is brown not black so need to rethink this now.

When I was looking for some black hex a couple of years ago I found that brown was more common (often used for trailer/horse box flooring etc) often adverts showed the same generic photo of black hex but then when you came to buy it was often brown. I remember black being in short supply back then and was very expensive!
