Help With Bed System Please

Hi.
Looking at different rear bed systems, there seems to be quite a difference in seat height. I think it's the Rock n' Roll bed that sits rather high off the floor and has a long seat depth. I think the California bed and Reimo are more reasonable. The RIB bed also. Would I be correct? Trying to find dimensions is proving difficult.
Thanks.

In my opinion the RIB seat is the best although it is a little high for some some people. We carry a small beanbag footstool though for this reason. With the RIB bed are not sleeping on the side that you sit on during the day so this allows for different filler on each side and also different covering fabric, we have leather on the seat side and fabric on the sleeping side.

I could be wrong but I think it is only the RIB that is designed in this way.

We have an SCA roof so inside roof height is not compromised. An RIB seat with a low roof would be an issue.

We have a 120cm width seat so let me know what specific measurements you need and I can sort this late for you once I’m home.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I'm not really after a specific dimension, I'd just like to identify which bed systems have lower seats than others. I thought RIB were ok but you've put me right on that one, thanks.

I went for the Cali 2-seater bed as it sat lower than some of the others I looked in to. I can measure the height if you’d want.

That's ok thanks. I think I've finally settled on the Cali bed system. Decided this morning to book into Exploria to get our conversion finalised and they recommend the Cali. I've sat on one before and it seemed lower then most other options available. Thanks for the offer.

I have a Reimo roof and the RIB was simply too high for adults sitting in the back. And the kids feet wouldn't touch the floor. I agree the RIB concept is best as it allows you to have both a more comfortable seat and a more comfortable bed surface, an arrangement which no other other manufacturer seems to replicate. I went for a Titan bed in the end due to the height issues, but comfort wise it's not great as neither the seat or the bed are particularly comfy. My daughter sits on a cushion which helps and we have a topper for the bed, so we have got round the issues that way.

We have a REIMO easy fit roof and a RIB seat with NO problems with head height. Guess it depends on your height. I am 5' 10" and don't feel I am any where near the bottom of the roof bed.

Have you looked at a Vamoose bed, it doesn’t work in the same was as a standard rock and roll bed but has a slide out bottom section and rear folding backrest, not cheap but will survive an eleven ton pull test, it’s built like the Forth Road Bridge and will outlive me. Also, the people that lead the company, Simon and Sandra are both brilliant, try them.

Thank you. I was looking to get a base T6 and get it converted but saw a T5 specced up to the nines with exactly what we were looking for. It has California seats which are low enough. We pick it up this Monday! Thanks for the suggestion though.

I use a Caravelle interior with a three seat bench, then a slot together rearmost shelf....but this is a full width bed....luxury!!!

The Reimo 333 seat also has sleeping on the reverse to the sitting side. Anyone wanting measurements drop me a PM.
