Help! loose engine somethingorother...

Hi - just checked my oil. it's fine. Had a bit of a look around in the engine bay and wish that I hadn't.

2018 T6 highline 150ps TDI

Below the fuel filter there looks to be a brake line junction maybe?

then underneath that, there is a loose bit that looks like it isn't supposed to be at an angle to the engine block.



I can't quite make out the part no that's on it. I feel like it's an upper engine mount?

I'm wondering if anyone can identify it and also wondering if this isn't supposed to be loose please?

Really appreciate any insight and apologies if this has already been covered somewhere

That looks the gear selector. You'll notice the cable snapped onto the top of it. Assuming gears are working fine and no other issues, then close the bonnet and forget about it. It's all normal
