Am getting a bit stuck and running out of patience, The van has still not grown a full electrical system despite my buying a Lithium battery and pretty much all the gubbins I need to wire it up.

Am wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere that'll take over my electrics install?

I feel like a made a really viable plan to fit it all out but I have lost that plan and subsequently have overwhelm.

I need to get a quote for the work and figure out how much more time I need to spend at work.

Cheers
Ben

People like cake.
How far is Shipley from you Ben? Yorkshire's only small isn't it?! Bay2 campers are good guys and would be reasonable price wise.

How far have you got with your install? Have you got all the kit and its just the install now?

Is it just feeling overwhelmed thats stopping you? If so Roamer batteries, for a fee of £120 (iirc) will design the system for you, provide diagrams and do video consultations etc. might be worth giving them a look.

Are you in a rush to get it done Ben? I’m decorating on pain of death from her indoors at the moment then we are away from next Thursday until the 8th.
I might be free from this drudgery by next Wednesday so could come and give you a hand then, but if not it will be from the 9th onward before I get chance.
It’s really not difficult you can just get overwhelmed.

Thanks all for the kind (and extreme) advice. @Sasquatch hope you're on the mend!

The Tea and cake option could work but my shift patterns will trash any hopes for a day off that's of any use and I don't have access to fine china... but in principle it's a great idea thanks @Matt-T68

I shall have look at bay2 thanks @Drive Wayne - Shipley not too far

@Skyliner33 that could be the answer as it's the wiring sizes, consumables and whatnots I'm struggling with mostly. I have a feeling they only do for customers with (or buying) victron kit tho. I might enquire with Rayne automotive tho...

@Bigsidavies i am workin shifts from now until next tuesday and only have wednesday off. I'm kind of in a rush as it's our lass's birthday a week on monday and we'll likely be away on the weekend before, ideally in the van, but it's in a state so may take the other car to take the pressure off. The deadline to either have electrics sorted or just put furniture back in and kibosh electrics til winter is Saturday 23rd Aug.

In truth I don't mind kiboshing the electrics til autumn/winter i guess. I do feel capable to physically route more wire and set up a basic system I'm just struggling with the basic consumable selection, work fatigue and the frickin ADHD....

I have
a 105ah fogstar drift and AC charger
Mppt dc2dc renogy
Inverter (that i might not bother with)

Some 20mm conduit (split)

I need
Mor conduit
More 16mm
Some 12mm?
Mega/midi fueboard
Bus bars
Big isolators
Control panel
Usb plugs x 3

So we can fit the Renogy dc/dc and mppt (presume single combined unit) and fuse accordingly and fit the Fogstar battery,
Run wires for inverter,
Run 16mm2 to fuse board and wire that up or at least first fix it ready for its installation into furniture,
Run ceiling light cable in conduit and to wherever light switch is going first fix that and run it back to the fuse board.
That’s all a doddle.
Then we will know how much other stuff you need to buy and might even be in a position for you to put the furniture back in ready for final fix of a control panel, light switch, water pump, usb sockets etc.
If you’re off on Wednesday shall we get what you’ve got installed as above and go from there?

This all sounds absurdly easy when an adult writes it.

@Bigsidavies I'm well up for that if you are sure? I need to confer with work as it looks like I was workin weds after all but I won't be...

Renogy B2B & MPPT combined yeah.
Fuses are there for battery and I will get a lend of king krimpson for next week.
I was thinkin an isolater too... need to order one or two I think
Inverter I am not too sure about installing for all the extra work - I have an eco flow D2
I'll check stock of 16mm...

Haha, as for Roamer, its not just for customers. Anyone can order the £120 system design. Its if you then go on to buy your kit from them and spend over a certain amount you get the £120 fee back.

If you need any tools I have all you will need, unless huge cable sizes. You know where I live if you cant organise with @Bigsidavies .

Yeah I was just planning to install an inverter and after looking at wiring lengths and running the thick cables and all the hassle I’ve just bought a Bluetti 180. Et voila-no inverter needed.
I’ve dm’d you btw.
