I have just purchased my first VW Transporter! The van is a 2016 T6 LWB factory high-roof 4Motion Startline. My intention is to convert it into a "Swamper" style weekend camper and daily driver. I will have lots of questions!
A bit of background:
It has been 34 years since I did my first self-build, which I lived in full-time for 18 months. I have done many builds since then, but for the past 10 years, I have had factory-built motorhomes. I make a living running motorhome / wild camping forums and installing leisure electrical systems in vehicles. I am a bad YouTuber but hope to document my build for people's entertainment.
