Ha ha.......okie dokie. 
Though just fitted a front bar, as shown in my profile picture. Got the van running tip top. Got a the main jobs out the way. Now looking on upgrades for the front, rigid solar panels, and probably shocks and suspension at the end of the month. I'm looking at Blistien shocks, maybe B6. I'm not looking at lowering it. Maybe a slight lift, for when the van is fully loaded.

Looking good already! I cheated with my suspension and took it to Steve @CRS Performance Over 2 years ago now, faultless and the ride is spot on. I'm so lucky he is only 9 miles away.
CRS is in Cannock, I'm in Aldridge which is absolutely nowhere near Walsall obviously!!

Just to say, I purchased this van about a year ago, I've spent quite a bit on it, just getting right. It wasn't a dog, just want it spot on. As in the job with the glow plugs, 2 were seized. Drilled threaded and removed. Engine light on, number 1 coked up. So that's sorted. Then maybe because of this, I've had inlet manifold out, cleaned, gaskets replaced, EGR gaskets and actuator replaced. I get that it that you can mechanically have it deleted, and deleted and rempped. But...I thought I'd keep it the way it was intended. Anymore trouble, I'll probably do that ha ha.
All for bloody emissions eh. Quality brakes fitted, no big upgrade brakes, not necessary. Just high carbon brembos. But absolutely love van life.
No more cars for me. Anyone want to buy a 370z ha ha.

I think I know the place you mentioned. As I searched around Aldridge too. I use Car Friend for servicing. As I'm also in Aldridge!!
Small world.
I take mine to Midland VW in Norton Canes for servicing and whatever needs doing, always been good and relatively inexpensive! I was burnt once by VW Birmingham and wont go back.

Car Friend seems to be ok. They've sorted the issues out which I've had.
They couldn't remove the plugs, the siezed glow plugs. Told them if they didn't have to tools, or the skill set, to not try. Otherwise, obviously head off.
I could off drilled and tapped them myself ( I've done this many times, but on aircraft ). So I thought I'd search for someone who does this on cars/vans. James Price in Walsall. Pricey but got the job done. Shown me the two plugs he had to drill and remove.
So.....have you had your suspension set up done off CRS?
I'm not looking at lowering. Maybe a lift, not massively. Also....I've seen vans with a lot higher lift on the back, and lower on the front. Though this van has like low profile tires etc. That's not my vibe. Well....not so noticable.
I'm definitely going to get in touch with CRS, they came up in the search when I initially started researching.

Have you got a picture of your van, I'll keep a look out. Promise I won't flash my lights. Do you ever get that? Other VW vans letting on. It's not a sad thing, I'm just a bit shy ha ha.
