And for some bizarre reason, we have level 7 rear springs!!

Yours will be the older model year -my16 as opposed to Loz my17 . Theirs often a fair few changes within the years- perhaps the geometry was slightly changed needing slightly weaker springs ! or maybe they just bolt on whatever lying around....

I still think that the softer springs being supplied as standard on newer vans are to compensate for a harsher ride from skinnier, high pressure low rolling resistance tyres required to meet Euro 6 and published MPG.

As for the Pedders springs and dampers; I came accross them when I was researching my problem (see other thread) but my dealer advised against fitting non OEM.

But their both Euro 6 204- meeting the same targets, but one has completely different springs than the other ?

I am leaning towards some oem springs, the main issue is not knowing where springs like the pedders come on the oem scale.

Same wheels and tyres.
Very little changed.

Mine (T30 150 DSG) came with Low rolling resistance 205 wide tyres as standard - I think the earlier ones had 215s fitted??

Our 180 did but our 150 has 215 60 17in
Hmmm - strange.
Pretty certain Loz has got the same size tyres but now you mention it, I think I did see a reference to your size too. Could be random, could be engine size, could be something else?!

One thing is certain - I am WELL street wiv me PHAT rubber on me KICKIN van.

Low rolling resistance tyres inflated to 58PSI for full load? Do you know what weight range your rear suspension is? I'm guessing its level 4 (0YD) or 5 (0YE) rather than 7?
